Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about subscriptions, billing, access, and how to reach the Oppositioner team.

Subscriptions & Access

What you get with each plan and how access works across devices.

What is included in a subscription?

A paid plan unlocks premium articles, analysis, and long-form reporting that are otherwise shown with a paywall overlay. Free readers can continue reading all public stories and can still subscribe to the newsletter.

Can I change or cancel my plan later?

If you need billing changes or cancellation help, contact support and include the email used during checkout. Self-service account billing controls are not exposed on the site yet.

Do you offer a free option?

Yes. The free tier is designed for readers who want core headlines and selected reporting, while paid plans are aimed at readers who want deeper access and fewer limits.

Billing & Payments

Straight answers about checkout, payment timing, and receipts.

When will I be charged?

Billing starts as soon as Stripe completes checkout for the selected paid plan. The interval shown on the pricing card determines whether the purchase is monthly or annual.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Card payments are supported through our secure checkout provider. The exact options available can vary by country, device, and payment network support.

How do I request billing support?

For payment issues, duplicate charges, or invoice questions, contact our support team and include the email used during checkout so we can locate the Stripe session quickly.

Editorial & Support

How to reach the newsroom, submit feedback, or ask for help.

How can I contact the editorial team?

Use the contact page for story tips, partnership questions, corrections, or general feedback. Messages are routed internally to the appropriate team.

Can I report an issue with accessibility or site performance?

Yes. We welcome reports related to accessibility, broken pages, and reading experience issues. Include the page URL, your device, and a short description of the problem.

Where can I learn about your policies?

Our legal pages cover privacy, cookies, terms of service, and accessibility. If something is still unclear, contact us and we will point you to the right policy owner.
